The month of love...

Well, Feb. 1 is here and it's a month full of love. Not because it's Valentine's Day, but more importantly, Motorcycle Guy and I celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary on Feb. 5! So in honor of our anniversary (and Valentine's Day, too, I suppose), I hope you enjoy the "love" songs I have arranged for your listening enjoyment when visiting.

  2. Congratulations! However, when I hear a love song, something happens inside of me. I start getting that, "I think I'm going to puke, but I'm not sure. Should I go to the bathroom? Should I put my head between my knees? Shit, my mouth is doing that pre-puke watering thing. Oh yeah. I'm gonna hurl." feeling. Does that say something about me?

  4. Wow...not too many repeats from my list. Of course, many of these artist I haven't heard of. I've been out of the new music genre for a number of years. And here in Guam....I am not going to come across alternative artists very often. They love their island music (some of it very good), the 70s & 80s, and they LOVE Journey. It's very funny.

Can't belive I missed Love My Way.....I knew I was missing something!!!

Things I remember from your wedding: it was very cold, walking underneath the church in the "tunnel" to get to the ceremony, all the girls looked great...you especially, last song: It's the End of the World As We Know It, Sal drove me and Heidi back to my apartment (man, Sal was 15 yrs ago!!!) AND your bachlorette party: how did we get 8 ladies in my grand prix, Mo holding your head up in the car, we put a trash bag over you (not your head) just in case you got sick (surprised you didn't!) and, drumroll please, you licking a man's face....yes, ladies, she licked a man's face.....as hostess of her bachlorette party, I did my job well: everyone got home safely, Jo had a great time, and she got DRUNK. Ah, memories....which you may not have many from that night!

Is there a phrase for VD that is the equivalent of "bah humbug" at Xmas? Because I need one.

  8. Have a wonderful anniversary! You've managed to make up quite a great list of songs. When I was dating my husband, I made up a list of songs with 'love' in the title and made him a mix tape with all of them for our first Valentine's Day together. I'm sure it's still tucked away somewhere in all we've accumulated over the years.
